Got some potatoes planted today, old school fashion; some transplanting as well.

While we've been busy with the season in full swing, thought we'd share some images this week of the production and beauty of our farm. Our smaller high tunnel still a skeleton in this beautiful sunset Broccoli babies just after transplanting with the water wheel. What is a water wheel? This is it. Mounts to the back of the tractor, marking a two row bed, watering with fertilizer as two people sit on the back and plant. Here we have broccoli, beets, hakurei turnips, rutabaga, and parsnips planted. In another field we have much more planted and coming up; peas, braising mix, mustard greens, kales, collards, lettuce, onions, radishes, carrots, swiss chard and more! We have been blessed to be able to share tools, knowledge, plants, and space with Grindstone Farm the past few weeks. Unofficially a true farming co-op. Some seedlings just getting off to a good start; broccoli, swiss chard fennel and flowers. Buds on the blueberries! Our little spot at the Regional Market, which will grow as the season goes on. Small but inviting! You'll find us on the North end outside Shed E with the season's bounty! A rainbow gracing the fields at dusk.
